INTRODUCTION: What is a GOD-CALLED preacher?
HE IS A SEER because of God. "I have
made thee a WATCHMAN." Ezk. 3:17
who sees. One who foresees events; a prophet".
HE IS A SAYER FOR GOD. (see Ezk. 3:17-19)
He is God's MOUTH-PIECE. Ambassador.
He is God's MESSENGER. (JONAH)
HE IS A SERVANT OF GOD.
"Paul a SERVANT of Jesus Christ"
"Philemon our...... fellowlabourer"
MAKES A PREACHER A:
DISTURBER. (Ill. with
PERSUADER. "Knowing therefore the
terror of the Lord, we PERSUADE men"
(Ill. with Moses, Egyptian bondage)
DOES HE SEE:
He sees the PAST, PRESENT AND
He sees SALVATION, DAMNATION AND REPROBATION
WHAT DOES HE SAY:
Now WHAT HE SEES HELPS AND
MOVES HIM TO SAY:
He sayeth "THUS SAYETH THE LORD"
He PROCLAIMS "SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST!"
PREACHES "DAMNATION WITHOUT CHRIST"
DOES HE SERVE:
What he SEES and KNOWS MOVES
HIM TO SERVE
He serves UNDER THE COMMAND OF THE
THE CONTROL OF THE SPIRIT
CORRECTION OF THE SCRIPTURE
THE COMPASSION OF THE
CONCLUSION: THE RESULTS OF
THE PREACHER AND HIS PREACHING:
God is PLEASED. "...
it PLEASED God by the foolishness of PREACHING to save
them that believe." (1 Cor. 1:21) Christ is PRESENTED.
"... He preached unto Him Jesus" (Acts 8:35)
are PARDONED! Acts 2:41; 4:4.
